From Tamil Nadu to Jammu and Kashmir in search of a woman

The News Minute | February 02, 2015 | 02.50 pm ISTA middle-aged man who travelled all the way from Tamil Nadu to Jammu and Kashmir was picked up by intelligence officials only to find out that the true purpose of his visit involved a woman. Intelligence agencies on alert after catching the man hailing from Ambur in Vellore district in Tamil Nadu were initially suspicious that he had been drawn to the area because of extremist ideologies, reported The New Indian Express. However, it was only when he narrated the real reason that the truth came out - he had come to meet a Kashmiri woman she had befriended on Facebook. Caught in Kathua Sector in Kashmir, he was picked up on suspicion at the location well known for cross-border firing between India and Pakistan. The J&K police let the man off after verifying his claims. It was also said that the man was initially reluctant to share the truth of visit since he was already married. TweetFollow @thenewsminute
