Tamil Nadu exam shocker: Dejected student kills self after results

A student in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore district hanged himself on Tuesday after allegedly being dejected by the results of the Tamil Nadu state board exams.

According to the police, Shakti Ganesh, who lived in  Perianaikanpalayam had scored 821 out of 1,200. He hanged himself when his parents had gone out.

Ganesh lived with his parents at Bhagat Singh nagar and his father was a retired post officer.

The body was sent for post-morterm at the Coimbatore district hospital and the police are investigating the case.
