Written by : TNM Staff

For Superstar Rajnikanth, the tributes just keep coming, but what’s the sweetest of them all, literally? A chocolate statue of his avatar in Kabali.

Srinath Balachandran of Zuka Café came up with a saccharine sweet tribute to Rajinikanth, unveiling a life size chocolate statue.

After sculpting life size chocolate statues of  President Abdul Kalam and Mahatma Gandhi, Zuka cafe went by a public survey for whose statue they wanted to see next. 72%  polled for Rajnikanth.

The life size statue which took two weeks to make, is made up on 600 kgs of raw chocolate and is six feet tall.

Speaking to TNM, Srinath said " This tribute to Rajni sir is for his completion of 40 years in the industry and for he being conferred the title 'Padma Vibhushan'. He has a huge fan base and people call us from all over India enquiring about the statue, and they want to come down to Chennai to pose a pic".

After many thronged the café to get a selfie with the statue, Srinath now plans on gifting Rajnikanth his chocolate statue.
