Send us pictures of your complaints online, says Chennai Corporation on encroachments

The News Minute | December 29, 2014 | 09:44 am ISTChennai Corporation has come out with a new inventive method of helping the public complain against encroachments on footpaths in the city. The Corporation now will allow the public to complain against such encroachments through options for uploading pictures on their official website, reported The Times of India. After issues of lack of decent footpaths, the corporation has been on the move, with atleast 25 bus route roads in the city having well-designed pavements , said the report. After its launch, the service has received over 190 complaints so far, said the report. However, the Corporation is yet to explain how it will go about tackling all the complaints, said the report.
