Rajinikanth starrer Kabali to release in May, huge expectations from fans

Written by : TNM

Expectations among movie buffs are high as to when the Rajinikanth starrer, Kabali would hit the silver screen now that the shooting has reached the final stages.

While there were speculations that it could be a Tamil New Year’s Day release, director Pa Ranjith has made it clear in an interview recently that Kabali will be a May-end release.

Directed by Pa Ranjith, superstar Rajinikanth will be seen in a very different avatar, say sources close to the film unit. This is one of the biggest reasons for Rajinikanth fans to look forward to Kabali’s release.

According to reports, Rajinikanth and the entire team of Kabali will be reshooting some of the already shot sequences as the team is unhappy with the output. The crew is unhappy with a prison scene which was shot in Malaysia. After seeing the rushes, the director is planning for a short schedule to reshoot the same.

Santosh Narayanan is the music director of the film, which has an impressive cast including Radhika Apte, Dhansika, ‘Attakathi’ Dinesh.

With Kabali set to release during the summer holiday season and with huge crowds expected, the film already looks like a potential winner.
