Radikaa Sarathkumar lashes out at Vijayakant, questions his credibility

Written by : TNM Staff

In an interview with a Tamil channel, Radikaa Sarathkumar responded to allegations that she was hard on DMDK-PWF’s Chief Ministerial candidate Vijayakant and his wife Premalatha.

On his career as an actor, Radhika said he was very hardworking but had messed up by foraying into political waters.  “He’s not a very highly intelligent person. It’s nice to see a costar of yours coming into the political arena. But somehow he messed it up. And now when I see him looking ill and being made the butt of all the jokes, I feel bad for him.”

She however, left no stone unturned to lash out at the Vaiko-Vijayakant combination. “Let's ignore I am Sarath Kumar's wife. If I am a normal voter, and someone tells me that Vijaykant is going to be CM, what do you think I'd be thinking? Do you think this man can seriously represent anything? He’s no patch on MGR.”

On Premalatha’s comments about MGR being an incoherent speaker, she termed the statement ridiculous. “She said MGR has a sinus in his throat? That’s new. I think that could go down as one of those rare medical miracles,” she quipped sarcastically, adding, “The second thing I think she said was that he used to dole out dialogues like Sivaji Ganesan. I feel sorry for Sivaji. Vijayakant does not speak like Sivaji.”
