Police ramp up security arrangements ahead of Jayalalithaa court verdict date

The News Minute | September 22, 2014 | 02:50 pm ISTIt is D-day for Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and Tamil Nadu on 27th September as a special court in Bangalore is set to pass judgment on the disproprortionate assets case in Bangalore.Senior officials from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have met over the weekend to discuss security issues to be dealt with after the verdict, said The Hindu.Jayalalithaa is under Z-plus security and the meeting was held to review security arrangements at ‘Gandhi Bhavan’, near Parappana Agrahara central prison, said the report.
