Even after such a brutal killing of a Dalit man in Udumalaipettai, PMK leader S Ramadoss preferred to skip the question related to it and walk away from the press conference on Monday.

In a press conference in Vellore, a reporter asked S Ramadoss, “Honour killings have been increasing in the state, what do you have to say about it?”, Ramadoss got up as soon as the question was asked and said, "First you publish whatever I have spoken about till now. There are so many other important news events." And he walked away.

A 21-year-old Dalit man, Sankar was hacked to death on Sunday afternoon in Udumalaipettai allegedly by his wife's family members. His wife, Kausalya was also seriously injured but is now stable. Kausalya's father has also surrendered at the Nilakottai court. Police buried Sankar's body on Monday even after opposition from the locals.
