The Muthialpet police have registered a case and the mortal remains of the man has been recovered and sent to a government hospital for an autopsy.

Chandan, the migrant worker, had left home on Saturday to withdraw cash from the ATM. Due to heavy rains caused by cyclone Fengal, the road outside the ATM was inundated.
