After his mother lodged a complaint with the Pulianthope police, his mobile phone was traced to Cuddalore, Times of India reported.The Cuddalore police found his body chopped and stuffed in three suitcases.Police said that Rao was last seen alive in Triplicane in a lodge with an unknown person, who they suspect could be the man behind the murder. CCTV footages of the lodge and nearby establishments are being scrutinized by the police to trace the man.
