With just 15 days to go for the assembly polls in Tamil Nadu, DMK MP and daughter of party chief Karunanidhi, Kanimozhi on Saturday said that incumbent CM and AIADMK’s head honcho Jayalalithaa’s days in politics are now numbered.

Addressing a political rally in Thanjavur’s Orrathanadu constituency on Saturday, Kanimozhi said that She also condemned the poor state of farmers under the AIADMK rule, citing the death of over 2,400 farmers in the five-year regime.

“The people of Tamil Nadu are not ready to believe in her anymore. Her date of retirement is going to come very soon. Let her do what she likes; meanwhile let Thalaivar Karunanidhi, who has made his life’s aim to serve the people of the state, take charge and rectify the lives of farmers (…),” she said in her rally, according to a News7 report.
