The News Minute | September 9, 2014 | 01:33 pm ISTIgnorance will make the problem go away, said the Madras High Court dismissing a writ petition against 'Velai Illa Pattadhari' , a Dhanush-starrer on Monday over a contentious dialogue in the film.A write petition had been filed by four people over the reference to quality of teaching in Tamil medium in a certain group of schools in the film, said The Times of India. However, even though the censor board had directed film producers to remove the controversial dialogue, the film had already left theatres. The court did not want to issue a rerun of the film, said the report. Justice V Ramasubramanian, overseeing the petition said "Ignoring certain things will make them fade away from public memory faster than objecting to them. Therefore, I do not wish to entertain the writ petition," He also said that he had studied in the said school, Ramakrishna Mission school, which was mentioned in the movie.
