The Election Commission on Friday ordered the transfer of IAS J Kumaragurubaran, Managing Director of Arasu Cable on Friday.

This move comes in the wake of a series of complaints from various political parties, reported The Hindu.

According to the newspaper, several political parties had complained against the Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV (TACTV) stating that TACTV was intentionally disturbing the broadcast of several channels run by political parties across the state.

Representatives from various parties also raised this issue while meeting the Chief Election Commissioner Nasim Zaidi earlier this month.
