Written by : TNM Staff

Senior Congress Leader Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mukul Wasnik met DMK leader MK Karunanidhi at his Gopalapuram residence on Friday to discuss poll strategy.

DMK Treasurer MK Stalin said the talks went smoothly. "We gave them options and they said they would take it to their leadership and come back."

However, there has been no word on the number of seats. Azad said it was simply a poll strategy meet and the  numbers were yet to be firmed up.

On being asked if any new parties would join the alliance, Stalin said they would announce in time if more parties were to come in.
