Tamil actor and comedian Vivek’s 13-year-old son Prasanna Kumar passed away due to brain fever on Thursday at SRM Institutes for Medical Science in Chennai.
The child had been hospitalized and was undergoing treatment for more than a month.
There have been posts by Twitter users sending condolences to the family.
Vivek has won three Filmfare Best Comedian Awards and a Padma Shri award for his contribution to arts.
