Chennai's beloved Sathyam Cinemas makes its Mumbai debut on Deepavali day

Chennai’s much loved Sathyam Cinemas, now known as SPI Cinemas, will make its grand entry to Mumbai soon. Le Reve, a French themed theatre with plush white interiors and ornate staircases will be open to public on Deepavali day. Le Reve has taken over Globus Cinemas in Bandra west for a nine-year lease. 

 

FirstPost report suggests that Le Reve is a 259 seater single screen theatre.

Le Reve is also playing host to the Jio MAMI festival from 21st to 27th October. Le Reve will make its debut with “Ae Dil hai Mushkil” and “Shivaay”, the two big Deepavali releases. 

The popular multiplex will also soon open in Kerala, Telangana, Bengaluru and Puducherry. In Chennai, SPI Cinemas owns five properties and 36 screens, including Sathyam, Escape, Palazzo and many others. The cinemas have a combined seating capacity of 8, 342.
