Officials at the Indira Gandhi International airport in Delhi were taken by surprise when AIADMK MP Sasikala Pushpa and DMK MP Tiruchi Siva got into a scuffle with each other on Saturday.

Both of them were reportedly taking the flight DW-854 to Chennai.

Speaking to The News Minute, the AIADMK MP said, “DMK MP Tiruchi Siva was speaking ill about the AIADMK party and the cadres, so I slapped him.” She did not want to talk any more about the issue.

According to news reports, Tiruchi Siva de-boarded the flight when he came to know that Sasikala was traveling on the same flight. When Sasikala was walking towards the terminal to board the flight from frisking booth No.1, she saw Tiruchi Siva and slapped him by holding his neck, according to reports.

In May 2016, ahead of the TN elections, pictures of Sasikala Pushpa and Tiruchi Siva went viral on social media.
