MDMK General Secretary and PWF alliance convenor Vaiko on Sunday evening accused both Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK supremo J.Jayalalithaa, and DMK leader M.Karunanidhi of being ‘joint-criminals.’

He held them responsible for sand mafia, land mafia, the illegal selling of alcohol and labelled them ‘atrocities’ by both the Dravidian leaders.

“In the city of Chennai alone more than 53 government-run schools have been shut down. The first-generation students are the most affected. From LKG to B.Sc., education comes with a rate card,” said Vaiko, reported ThanthiTV.

He accused both AIADMK and DMK for converting education as a means of business and voiced that poor students are suffering due to commercialization of education.
