After Theri's Telugu dub 'Police', Vijay is now hot property in Tollywood

Ilayathalapathy Vijay is now acquiring a major fan base across Hyderabad and Telangana, with each dubbed film of his being celebrated more and more. And now, Producer Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations has acquired the distribution rights of the Telugu version of Theri.

After the release of ‘Police’, the Telugu version of Theri, almost all noon and matinee shows were sold in black, a distinction even Telugu blockbusters don’t enjoy.

First day collections amounted to around 85 lakhs, a decent opening for a Tamil dubbed film in Tollywood.  Inspite of the huge competition from “Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam” it can probably stand to perform well until next week, which will mark the release of Sarrainodu.

'Police' is directed by Atlee and is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu under the banner of V Creations with Samantha and Amy Jackson playing the female lead roles. Naan Kadavul Rajendran, Mahendran, Radhika Sarathkumar and many other actors are also playing major roles.
