These stores will cost Rs 37.17 crore. 23 Amudham Departmental Stores are already run by the Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation and 114 departmental stores are run by cooperative institutions in the state. The new Amma Amudham Departmental Stores will help in extending the services.
