At the sound of Chandramukhi’s signature tune Ra Ra, the ringing of anklets and the trademark ‘Lakalakalaka’, goosebumps still persist from the memory of watching the Rajnikanth hit 11 years ago.

Despite superstar Rajnikanth underplaying his presence with an ensemble star cast in the movie, it has remained unbeatable at the box office. Sources now say Rajnikanth could be in talks with Sivaji productions for another collaboration that could be a sequel to Chandramukhi. Director P Vasu has apparently been working hard at one.

Another speculation is that the filmmaker is keen on getting Rajnikanth onboard the remake of his recent Kannada blockbuster hit ‘Shiva Linga’, which is a supernatural thriller getting great reviews and outstanding collections in box office. But for the moment, Superstar Rajnikanth is busy occupied with his magnum opus ‘2.0’, the sequel to 2010 blockbuster hit ‘Enthiran’, directed by Shankar.

Meanwhile, there is buzz that Sivaji Productions is likely to produce Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film – Vijay 61, directed by Hari.
