What happens when molten aluminium meets soda? Does it cause an explosion? TheBackyardScientist, known for his quirky videos, recently found out the answer to that. 

The YouTuber, who has over 1.5 million subscribers, makes "videos on all the crazy stuff" he does- like pouring liquid nitrogen in a pool and pouring molten salt in water. 

Last year, he experimented with pouring molten aluminium into a watermelon. The video till date has generated a whopping 27 million views on YouTube.
