Watch: Twinsburg, where twins from all over the world come together for the biggest twin festival

Written by : TNM Staff

In the US, one in every thirty children is a twin. So imagine the sight if twins from all over the world gathered together to celebrate the largest twins festival in the world?

Located in Ohio, Twinsburg is a small town which holds this annual festival called ‘Twins Days’ and sees twins and families turn up from across the world in thousands.

Twins meet other twins, share stories and showcase their talents.

Watch this fascinating video where twins from babies to middle-aged men and women, share what it’s like to be twins.

While some of them talk about how it’s fun to have a companion who looks like you, others talk about how people tend to assume both of them want the exact same things in life, which it is not the case. One pair speaks about how they have a telepathic connection of sorts where they make up the same dance moves at the same time and can feel each other’s pain.

Although this video showcases only identical twins, the 40th edition of the festival- to be held between August 5 and August 7- is open to all kinds of twins including “identical, fraternal, young and old, twins, triplets, quads”.
