Watch: This six-year-old from Kochi is the most adorable Indian chef on YouTube

He looks like he can barely manage to lift the saucepan onto the stove once he’s poured all of the ingredients in. And he pauses most adorably as he tries to remember the next item on the list of ingredients for the dish he’s chosen to cook today.

It’s not surprising, considering that Nihal Raj, or Kicha as he’s more affectionately called, is all of six years old. In fact, when the first video went up on his own YouTube Channel, Kicha, a student of Choice School in Kochi, was only five years old. But the little chef doesn’t let age get in the way as he expertly dishes out everything from popsicles to ice cream cake to even coconut payasam, thari kanji (semolina porridge), and oatmeal flax cookies.

And it seems Kicha is more than just a cutesy curiosity on the internet. The young chef recently made a $2000 deal with an agency that makes videos for Facebook, for the non-exclusive rights to the video of him making Mickey Mouse mango ice cream.

According to Mashable, the rights were purchased by Facebook for a promotional campaign for the social networking platform.  "When we came across the public post featuring Nihal Raj cooking, the video felt like a great fit and we were delighted he and his parents agreed to participate,” Mashable quoted a Facebook spokesperson as saying.
