While Chiyaan Vikram is basking in the success of ‘Iru Mugan’, his son Dhruv Vikram has made his directorial debut with an English short film, ‘Goodnight Charlie’.

The film deals with the delicate subject of child abuse.

Watch it here:

The film was shot as a project for his six-month filmmaking course in Met Film School, London. ‘Goodnight Charlie’ was written and directed by Dhruv and produced by Chiyaan Vikram.

It follows the developments in a family of three: a working woman, her stay at home husband and their young son, Charlie. When the woman calls her brother to stay at their house for a fortnight, things start to get strange. Charlie begins to hear voices and starts drawing pictures of a horned creature who comes to his room every night. The 15-minute film unfolds as a thriller.

Meanwhile various reports speculate that Dhruv will soon make his acting debut in a Shankar directorial; however, there have been no confirmations so far.
