Last year, a catchy song called ‘I’m a Mallu’ was the rage on social media. As the title suggests, it was all about the pride (and some stereotypes) associated with being a Malayali.

The song has once again started going viral on social media, all thanks to a quirky video of actor-model Ashwathy Warrier’s wedding.

Ashwathy and Abhilash Unnikrishnan’s wedding saw their friends and family and even the bride and groom come together to dance and lip-sync to I’m a Mallu and the result is sure to leave a smile on your face.

The video, produced by SDS Studio, has been going viral on social media.

One of the best things about the video is that it does not just feature the youngsters, but the elders in the family enthusiastically dancing and singing along to the groovy track as well. The best part of course, are the bride and groom themselves, proudly lip syncing and dancing along.

The original song came out in June 2016, and was sung by Bengaluru-based Malayali Rinosh George. Watch it here.
