In a shocking incident, the locals took the law into their own hands when they caught a man selling contraband substances to school children. The incident happened in Wayanad district, Kerala, where people tied up the man to a tree and threw water on him to punish him.

The video which is posted on a Facebook page called International Human Rights Association, has since gone viral. Reactions have been mixed in the sense that while some condemn the man and support the punishment metted out to him, others have spoken against the act.
