In 2013, 27-year-old Mihaela Noroc decided to quit her job and focus completely on her two passions, travel and photography.

Out of that journey has come a project called Atlas of Beauty, where Mihaela, a Romanian photographer, catalogues images of women from the 50 countries she has traveled to in the last three years.

Her mesmerizing pictures show that beauty comes in all shapes, sizes and colours.

Mihaela describes her project as an attempt to showcase ‘normal’ women from around the world, whose lives do not seem spectacular at first glance. “I hope I will have the chance to photograph some of them for the project, capturing their inner and outer beauty and showing them how special they are," she says.

Watch this video to get a glimpse of her internationally acclaimed work.
