"No, Go, Tell."

These are three words that a group against child abuse is hoping every child will learn in order to tackle the dangers leading to child sexual abuse.

In a video released by Bodhini, actor Nivin Pauly sits down with a group of children in a playground to discuss body safety issues, the differences between a “good touch” and a “bad touch,” and what these young ones should do if they find themselves face to face with a potential abuser.

"No" refers to what children should scream out, "go" means run away and finding a trusted adult, and "tell" is not keeping the incident to themselves, but rather talking to a parent, teacher or someone they trust.

The Malayalam actor also urges the children to ask for help from five adults who they trust. Nivin patiently explains that there are parts of the body that no one should be allowed to touch, including lips, chest and buttocks.

The video summarises the dangerous signs that children should be able to recognize before they experience any harm or an unwelcome touch.

"No, Go, Tell" is a practice that should be familiar among children to help them understand that they can talk about these incidents without any fear.
