Leisurely watch this video to learn the importance of staring out of the window

We no longer need to reproach ourselves for staring out of the window -thought to be synonymous with wasting time- since dreaming per se, seems to have no sense of prestige associated with it.

There is a glimmer of hope for all those day-dreamers out there who can now perhaps indulge in their favourite pastime, guilt-free.

This video made by The School of Life attempts to explain the potential of day-dreaming, which otherwise is not recognized by societies obsessed with productivity.

Workaholics are yet to realize that some of the greatest human insights happen, when we actually stop trying to be purposeful, and instead respect the creative potential of reverie.

The video seeks to establish that window-daydreaming is a strategic rebellion against the excessive demands of the immediate but ultimately insignificant pressures, in favour of the diffuse but very serious search for an insight into our deepest selves.
