Karnataka Congress catches Kabali fever, guess who's the hotshot don

Written by : TNM Staff

Congress supporters have finally matched up to the media savviness that has so been the BJP's domain. A fan group of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah have created a snappy video of the CM as Kabali, and the effect is, well, kinda cool.

A video uploaded on the Namma Siddaramiah Facebook page juxtaposes Siddaramaiah with the soundtrack of Kabali trailer, with the macho-boost intact. But of course, it’s message is tailored to a Karnataka audience: the villain here is BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa.

So here’s the thing. It’s a fun video as far as political mud-slinging goes. But, even a cursory look at the video makes it clear that it’s professionally done. A little beyond the budget of a fan club, perhaps?
