Four Hyderabad women cops help deliver baby in the heart of city

Written by : TNM Staff

On Tuesday afternoon, a woman going through labour pain was found opposite Hyderabad’s popular Shanthi theatre.

Four women police officers who rushed to the spot from the nearest police station decided that there was not enough time to shift the women to a hospital.

A makeshift room was created with sarees and bedsheets and the delivery went smoothly as other cops stood guard. The woman gave birth to a baby boy who was immediately wrapped in clean clothes.

The four policewomen Divya, Shardha, Shobha and Jyothi later tool the women to the Koti Maternity Hospital.
