Bengaluru Police have never done ‘stranger things’, you'd better listen and wear a helmet

The Bengaluru City Police’s social media team has definitely mastered the art of using pop cultural references to put across its message to the public.

While we’ve seen references to Game of Thrones, and Harry Potter in the past, the latest addition is the popular TV show Stranger Things.

Check out the tweet asking people to wear a helmet while driving.

In the original show, a supernatural thriller, the mother of a boy, who goes missing, communicates with him through the light bulbs on the wall.

Get it? Quite cool, right? And the police has also been receiving plenty of compliments.

A few months ago, the Bengaluru-based marketing startup Crowd Kart took over the city police’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts and have given it a complete revamp.
