After leading Australia to their semi-final victory over India on Thursday, Micheal Clarke would not have come into the post-match press conference expecting a question related to his sexual prowess.

But as the BBC journalist Stephan Shemilt fumbled his way to congratulating the Aussie skipper for his "tremendous sex...success", as captain, Clarke, after peals of laughter from the press and ribbing from his teammate Steve Smith, held it together, jocularly asking, "How well do you know me?"

"Its a question for my wife!", the 33-year-old said finally.
