When Greenpeace activist Priya Pillai was offloaded from a flight to London , the government had defended its decision to prevent her travel to the country to meet some Briitish MPs as they felt she would indulge in anti-national activities.

Set to address the British MPs on their invitation about her campaign in Madhya Pradesh against the setting up of a coal-mining project by Essar,a UK-based organisation;  she however had been prevented from boarding her flight and her passport marked ‘offload’.

However, after Express’ latest scoop on the Essar group ,the NGO has retaliated strongly to allegations of the company getting immediate access to important notifications from  ministries.

In its Facebook post , Greenpeace questioned, “ Who is the Real anti-national?”

According to the leaked emails and as indicated by Express, Essar had routine access to important ministry papers.

Not only did the report mention allegations of access to government files, it also said that Essar had held 200 vacancies in its office to allow referrals made by politicians.
