Six months after she slipped in a coma, 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of the late singing sensation Whitney Houston, has died.

Found unresponsive in her bathtub in Atlanta, she was admitted and kept in care at a hospital in Duluth, Georgia, reported The Guardian.

Earlier in June, after over four months of treatment, it was reported that Brown had been completely unresponsive to treatment. But prior to that, different versions of her condition were floating. While her father, R &B singer Bobby Brown made a public announcement telling the crowd “I can say today, Bobbi is awake. She’s watching me”.

However, her maternal grandmother later said in a statement, that Brown had "global and irreversible brain damage".
CNN reported the statement made by a Houston family representative. "Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away Sunday, July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family," the statement said. "She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."

Brown was found, her head face-down and unresponsive, in her bathub on Jan 31 this year.

The news comes over three years after her mother was found dead in a bathtub due to accidental drowning.
