In a shocking incident, the DJ at a wedding in Uttar Pradesh was shot dead by a youth after he did not play a song of his choice.An NDTV report mentions that the incident took place at the birthday celebrations of jeweler Hari Om Gupta’s granddaughter at Sidhauli village in the Meerganj area of UP.The report says that 30-year-old Arun Valmiki was shot on Monday night by one Ashu alias Ishu after the former refused to play a track of his choice.Valmiki was reportedly taken to the community health centre where he was declared dead and his body has been sent for post-mortem.“Following the incident, police raided Ishu's house, but he had fled by then,” said Additional Superintendent of Police Brijesh Srivastava.Also Read: My father's honesty punished: Son of Mumbai cop arrested for alleged links with drug kingpin lashes out
