The man was none other than 34 year old Davide Martello who came to the French capital earlier following the Charlie Hebdo attacks in January and played the same tune in solidarity with the Parisians.

Speaking to the Guardian, Martello said he was in a pub in his hometown of Konstanz watching the game between France and Germany when the match was interrupted by blasts just outside the stadium.

He said that he felt it was his duty to comfort and offer a ‘sign of hope’ which made him to take a quick decision to drive down 400 miles with his friend.
