But the Centre will decide when to carve out a separate State. It will be done at an appropriate time. But we want to do it amicably and not like Telangana,†he added.According The Hindu, Fadnavis had vociferously supported the formation of new state in the past and has now assured that all issues concerning Vidarbha would be resolved methodically. Responding to a query on the Belagavi border row and the name changing issue, he said, “Karnataka has been more pro-active over the Belagavi issue. But we don’t agree with the change of name of Belgaum [to Belagavi]. It is wrong.â€
