TV9 Gujarati appears to be firmly believe in the idiom better late than never.
Most of the national and regional news channels aired footage of who Times Now called the “Meerut Braveheart” (complete) with hashtag, four days ago. A couple of other channels and newspapers may have carried the story a day later.
TV9 Gujarati apparently, only just discovered the video. Thinking it was better late than never, it uploaded the video titled "Brave Meerut girl fights with assailants - Tv9 Gujarati" on its YouTube channel around 5 pm on August 25, several days after the other channels first ran the story.
In all fairness, the channel never claimed the incident was recent, nor did it claim to have “broken” the story. Watch the video here:
