Tomar alleges harassment by Delhi police, court extends custody by two days

In a latest development, a local court extended the custody of former Delhi law minister Jitender Singh Tomar who has been accused in a fake degree case, up to June 15. He also alleged on Saturday that Delhi Police harassed him during his four-day police custody.Aam Aadmi Party leader Tomar told Metropolitan Magistrate Pooja Aggarwal that he was harassed by Delhi Police during his custody. The former minister was presented before the court after the expiry of his four-day police custody. Delhi Police arrested Tomar on Tuesday and slapped a case of cheating, forgery and conspiracy against him.With inputs from IANS
