The News Minute | December 15, 2014 | 11:05 am ISTTirupati MLA M Venkata Ramana from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) died of a heart attack in Chennai, during the early hours of MondayThe 67 year old TDP MLA was undergoing treatment at an Apollo hospital in Chennai for heart related ailments. Reports suggest that he had previously suffered two heart strokes. He had also undergone a bypass surgery on Sunday night. He had also served as Chairman of the Tirupati Urban Development authority (TUDA) in the past. He is survived by his wife and two daughters. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and other TDP leaders have condoled his death.Tweet
