‘Stealing painting to make a point’: Hilarious comic strips on Modi, casteism, alcoholism and more

 Inspired by Royal Existentials, “a weekly webcomic series that uses Indian vintage art and imagery to tell stories of historical (and contemporary angst” and Wondermark, which is a similar concept set in the Victorian era, Chennai-based former banker Rajesh Rajamani is now regularly ‘stealing paintings to make a point’. Through his webcomic series Inedible India, Rajesh uses old painting to express his opinion on current events.
