Srikanth and Saina win in China Open Super Series

Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth pulled off the biggest upset of his career by beating two-time Olympic and five-time men's singles World Champion Lin Dan in straight games to secure the China Open Super Series Premier title on Sunday.

The Indian, ranked 15th in the world, beat the Chinese star 21-19, 21-17 in 46 minutes for his maiden Super Series title.

On the other hand, top Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal beat Japan's Akane Yamaguchi in straight games to win her maiden China Open Super Series Premier women's singles title on Sunday.

Saina beat her Japanese opponent 21-12, 22-20 in 42 minutes for her second Super Series title of the year - the first being the Australian Open in June.
