The Supreme Court has said that those who felt their rights had been violated by the statements of Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati Shankaracharya of Dwarkapeeth could initiate legal action him.

According to a Times of India report, the Supreme Court said that it would not intervene and asked those whose who felt their right to worship had been violated, to file a civil or criminal suit against the swami.

The swami has said in the past that Sai Baba should not be worshipped as he was not a god and that his images must be removed from temples.
