Some news is absurd, this sounds like one of them.

A Polish town has decided not to name one of its playgrounds after the character Winnie-the –Pooh because of two reasons.
One its lack of pants and , two , the uncertainity of its gender.

According to AP, tapes from a leaked council meeting in Tuszyn, a small town in Poland revealed that councilors discussed over whether Winnie the Pooh was a suitable role model for kids because of his confused gender.

“It is half naked which is wholly inappropriate for children. [Poland’s fictional bear] is dressed from head to toe, unlike Pooh who is only dressed from the waist up,” said one member of the meeitn according to Belfast telegraph.

The character referred to here is Mis Uszatek, a polish character who in opposition ot Winne the Pooh wears pants.

“This is very disturbing but can you imagine! The author was over 60 and cut [Pooh’s] testicles off with a razor blade because he had a problem with his identity,” said another councilman.

Winnie the Pooh isn’t the only cartoon without pants. Donald Duck doesn’t wear pant too, says RT which discussed the issue.

The whole discussion sounds absurd, hopefully, all this was just said in jest.
