Policeman crushed under sand mafia's truck in Madhya Pradesh

The News Minute | April 6, 2015 | 7:40 am ISTA policeman in Madhya Pradesh's Morena district was crushed to death on Sunday while flagging down a truck belonging to the sand mafia.State Home Minister Babulal Gaur has sought a report about the incident within three days and a case of culpable homicide has been filed against the truck driver who absconded after the incident.Confirming constable Dharmender Singh Chauhan's death, Inspector General of Police Navneet Bhasin told IANS that the police have launched an investigation and were trying to find the truck's owner.Describing the incident as "unfortunate", Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who is presently in Delhi, said over phone that the culprits will be traced and prosecuted.IANS
