The Banjara Hills police in Hyderabad on Sunday registered a case against dubbing in-charge of the Tollywood film Nannaku Prematho B Srinivas and AP Movie Dubbing Artist Association president B.V. Subba Rao, for allegedly harassing woman artists by making vulgar comments.

According to a report in the Deccan Chronicle, a 26-year-old dubbing artiste lodged a complaint with the police alleging that a few months ago, she had opposed Subba Rao as president of the association, leading to a quarrel. Following this, he suspended her membership from the association for a year.

The complainant also said that she was dubbing for Nannaku Prematho on Thursday, when dubbing incharge Srinivas alias Pappu and Subba Rao started making vulgar comments against her and her colleagues.

"She alleged that they were harassing the women mentally and due to which she had attempted suicide in the past," Banjara Hills sub-inspector S. Santosham told DC.

A case has been registered against the duo and an investigation is ongoing.
