Football legend Pele's 44 year old son Edson Cholbi do Nascimento has been arrested after he lost an appeal in a money laundering case.

Edinho as he is known was sentenced earlier this year to 33 years imprisonment for money laundering. The money is claimed to have been raised from drug trafficking

A local court in Brazil ordered his arrest. This decision can now be appealed against, in a higher court.
