The Indian Army launched Operation Keller in the Shoekal Keller area of Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir, on May 13, 2025, following specific intelligence from a Rashtriya Rifles unit about terrorist presence. A fierce gunfight broke out during the search, resulting in the elimination of three hardcore terrorists. The operation is still in progress.
Air India has issued a travel advisory announcing cancellation of flights to and from Jammu, Leh, Jodhpur, Amritsar, Bhuj, Jamnagar, Chandigarh, and Rajkot on May 13.
